Thanksgiving at Aunt Donna's
We headed to Washington, IA to spend Thanksgiving with Aunt Donna, Uncle Sid, Aaron, Kate, Grandpa Bob, and Aunt Jenna & Uncle Austin. Although we were missing quite a few family members, it was nice to have so few of us.....we were all able to sit at the same table!
We finally got to meet Kane, my cousin Aaron's youngest. And his oldest, Michaela had sooo much fun chasing and playing with Noah. They were the entertainment of the day!

Independence Day 2010
We spent the weekend at our local campground, relaxing and just spending some quality time together. Noah enjoyed lots of golf cart and Gator rides ("ri-ri"), swinging, ice cream, and of course fireworks and sparklers. He even got to see his Aunt Linz, Adam, and funny puppy, Malia.
One of Noah's favorite things to do at Shady Acres is to have Daddy hold him up to see the lights hung from the deck. We say "wee"!
Noah wasn't real interested in the sparklers. He was not sure what they were all about.
Sitting on our friend PJ's 4-wheeler. What a big boy! Won't be long and he'll be cruisin' around on his own.
The sunset was so beautiful on the 4th, we had to take advantage of the photo-op.

Aunt Jenna & Uncle Austin's Farm
I've been anxiously awaiting for Noah to be big enough and the weather to be nice enough to take him to Aunt Jenna and Uncle Austin's farm to see the cows, and Memorial Day was the day! But before we went outside, we had to take a quick photo of the big boy standing against the couch.
But the babies aren't. They are about the same size as Tia. So cute too.
I think Noah thought they were puppies because he just reached right out to pet this one!
And when Aunt Jenna let Noah's legs hang over the gate, this cow came right up and licked his toes!
Aunt Jenna made Mommy go climb up the hay mound to see Grayson kitty. So Noah had to hang out with Uncle Austin and Molly for a bit. I told Noah when he's older Uncle Austin might give him a ride in the "big green tractor".

First Camping Trip of 2010
This was our first weekend at Shady Acres in 2010 - 5/14/10. Noah's hangin' out in his "camping high chair", playing with his first John Deere Gator.
New teeth feel funny and therefore, cause funny faces to appear.
He's not ready for s'mores yet, but he did try his first graham cracker.

Down on the Farm
On Sunday, 4/18/10 we took Noah to our friends' farm so he could see the new baby chicks that Daddy and our friend just got a few days before. Noah was much more interested in the kitties than he was the hens or the baby chicks (which I didn't get any pictures of).

First Trip to the Park
The warm sun was shining so brightly, and the temperature was close to 60 degrees today, so I packed Noah up in the car and we headed into Keystone to check out the park.
We found the swings right away, and I held the chain while I slowly pushed him back and forth. He loved it! (Even though you can't tell from the photos. He had too much to look at to smile for me this time.)
Then we had to check out the slide. But I wasn't feeling brave enough to actually go up the steps to slide down with him. So Noah just hung out at the bottom of the slide. He had soooo much fun watching all the other kids play. We'll definitely be back - that's for sure!
