This was a great weekend filled with relaxing, socializing, and accomplishments. Friday night and early Saturday were spent relaxing with our fellow campers.
Saturday afternoon, Beaner and I went and got groceries while Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Jimmy watched over Noah as he napped. When we returned from grocery shopping, Noah, Grandma, Grandpa, and I went swimming! Ahhhh.....it felt so great in this scorching heat! Noah thought Grandpa was pretty funny when he blew bubbles in the water with his mouth.
Saturday night we had a delicious meal provided by our friends Dick and Bonnie who were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. Prime rib sandwiches, homemade salads, and sweet corn from our house - yum! (I missed a photo op when we discovered that Noah was able to eat corn-on-the-cob. He loved it!)
Sunday was my favorite day. We all slept in until 9:30! Then we got up, had some breakfast, and went swimming again. This time Daddy joined Noah and me - hooray! I truly cherish moments like that with just the 3 of us being together. On Sunday afternoon, after packing up and cleaning the camper, we came home and put Noah down for his nap. Then I went to work cleaning the basement in an effort to make it more appealing to me in hopes that I'll start using my treadmill again.
Only one picture to share from the weekend. This is our friend and fellow camper Lisa's granddaughter Zoey (a.k.a. one of Noah's girlfriends). She is such a dolly!

7/24/11 - Noah & Caleb
Noah and I hopped in the car at 5:20 this morning and headed to Norway to watch Caleb. But much to our pleasant surprise, Aunt Jenna was put on call at the last minute. So we got to spend the morning with her, too! What fun it is to watch these two little boys interact with each other. Well, it was fun until I caught Noah standing on Caleb! Not to worry, nobody was hurt.
Look at that tooth!
Noah told me, "I'm workin' under here, Mom."
...And the sharing challenges begin...

7/23/11 - Noah's 1st Waterpark
Today we went with Aunt Lindsay to The Falls Aquatic Center in Cedar Falls. Aunt Linz has been wanting to take Noah to this waterpark since he was born, so we were thrilled to be able to get to do it today. Noah wasn't too sure about even walking in the water at first. Then, after a 30-minute break (due to lightening), he warmed up to the water. We went through the lazy river twice. Then Noah looked at me from his yellow tube and somberly said "I'm done, Mom." It was a fun day and so great to share this first experience of Noah's with Lindsay.
7/9/11 - Visit with Caleb
On Saturday, July 9th we spent the day with Grandma Kristi and Caleb. Took the opportunity to take a few photos of the boys in their matching outfits from Aunt Julie. Quite a comical event!
