8/25/11 - Evening with Jenna & Caleb

Aunt Jenna and Cousin Caleb picked up Noah from daycare today and came over to hang out and have supper with us tonight.  We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Daddy had put a roast in the oven for supper when he was home at lunchtime - yummy!

Last Weekend (8/19/11 - 8/20/11)

Seems like I always capture this same farmhouse every time I photograph an amazing sunset out at Shady.   Do you suppose the owners have any idea how picturesque their farm is?

Saturday was Keystone's BBQ Round, and kicking off the day was a tractor cade.  We were almost setup to watch them all take off in town when we realized they were turning a block before us.  So we hopped in our car and took the back roads to get ahead of them.  We ended up watching the entire parade of tractors from a gravel road.  It was great!  Noah loved it.

"Thumbs up!"

"Double Thumbs Up!"

8/16/11 - Aunt Linz's Birthday

Last Tuesday, we went up to Waterloo and met Lindsay and her friends at Red Lobster for a delicious and entertaining birthday dinner.  What fun!

8/13/11 - Making a New Friend

One of our camping couples had their grandson out for a visit a couple of weeks ago.  So Noah made a new friend - Breyer, who is also 2.

8/7/11 - Playing at Shady

Sunday was an amazing day.  We enjoyed opening the windows in the camper and letting the breeze flow through.  Then we headed outside for some playtime before packing up and heading home.

8/6/11 - Atkins Watermelon Days

On Saturday, we went to Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy's house to watch the Atkins Watermelon Days parade.  Aunt Jenna was on-call for work, so she was able to join us, which was great since this was Caleb's first parade!

Noah sharing a Tootsie Roll with Caleb.

Grandma Kristi got to stay and play.

Grandma Kathy finally got a break and was able to sit with her two grandsons for a quick picture.

Noah and I went out to the field and picked some sweet corn for supper last night.  Mmmm....
