1/25/12 - Twinkies

Ever since I heard about Hostess having financial troubles recently, I've had a hankering for a Twinkie.  Well, I happened to be at the grocery store tonight, so I picked up a box.  Here's Noah trying his first Twinkie ever.  Mmmm...

1/21/12-1/22/12 - Weekend with Caleb

What a weekend we've had with two little boys running around the house.  Caleb came and spent the whole weekend at our house while his momma worked.  Last night was the first time he had spent the night with us.  We were all pleasantly surprised that he slept until 7:30 this morning!  Caleb and Noah got along really well with the biggest challenge being watching Noah and helping him learn to share his toys.  Here are some pictures from the weekend's adventures.

The picture below is special because Caleb is playing with a cookie jar that Jenna gave Noah when Noah was just a baby.  It was so neat to see Caleb getting to play with it, especially since it moos when you tip it upside down, and the one thing Caleb says best so far is "moo".

Here the boys are playing with an old ("classic") Fisher Price toy of mine.

It was virtually impossible to get both boys to look at the camera at the same time.  So instead, I was able to get a shot of each of them smiling.

Sunday night - just rockin' and readin' while we wait for Caleb's mommy to pick him up.  What a wonderful weekend filled with lots of hugs and kisses.  I think even Uncle Beaner enjoyed watching these cousins run around and take over our house.  So entertaining.

1/14/12 - Fun in the Snow!

On Saturday, 1/14/12, we were all anxious to head outside to try out Noah's new sled since we finally got some snow.  So we bundled up and headed out.  First we tried the new penguin sled.  It was pretty comfy, but the snow kept piling up on my leg.  (I had to hold Noah on the sled.)  So we decided to try last year's sled which has more of a lip around it.  But Noah didn't want to go, so he rode on Daddy's lap, and they pulled ME around the yard instead!  It was soooo fun!!

1/8/12 - Christmas in Newton

On Sunday, 1/8/12, we headed to Newton to Jordan & Amanda's house for a Christmas celebration.
