3/25/12 - Meeting Baby Drayton

Today we got to meet Baby Drayton.  Oh my, is he cute!  He handled a house full of relatives very well for being only a couple of weeks old.  Such a sweet boy.  Can't wait to see him again.

3/20/12 - Caleb & Noah

Caleb came over for supper and some playtime tonight.  Sure is tough to get these 2 little boys to sit still long enough to snap a picture with them both looking at the camera.  So these are the best I could get.  Another fun night watching them interact.

3/17/12 - First Camping Weekend of 2012 (and St. Patrick's Day too!)

Last weekend was our first camping weekend of the year.  We enjoyed campfires, Gator rides, burgers on the grill, and great company.  Grandma Bernie and Grandpa Bud even showed up Saturday evening to visit with us, and Grandma took a turn in Noah's log cabin! 

3/10/12 - Running

Thought we better give our wild man a chance to burn off some steam outside late yesterday, so we all went outside for a bit.  Who needs toys when you have a kid who just wants to RUN everywhere?!  He was so fun.  He would just take off to run and start giggling.  I think some of the time he was giggling at Tia, but some of the time he was just giggling at himself because he was running.  So sweet.

I know some of these photos are blurry (obviously because he was RUNNING), but I had to share them anyway.  Just look at the look on his face.

3/7/12 - Talkin' on the Phone

Noah has recently become quite a little phone talker.  He answers the phone, holds it himself for the whole conversation (which can last a good 10 minutes sometimes), and then he says goodbye and hangs up (closes the phone).  Sometimes, Mom or Dad have to call the person back because we didn't get a chance to talk.  Hee hee.  Such a grown up boy!

3/6/12 - Helpin' Mom with the Laundry

I've been trying to remember to let Noah help me doing things around the house.  It allows him to learn and build his independence but, of course, takes extra patients on my part.  So I asked him to pull all the clothes out of the dryer the other night, and then I made him pose for the camera.  He did such a great job - and seems to be very maticulous about his "chores".

3/4/12 - Sunday with our Koehn Family

Last Saturday night, Noah and I had a slumber party at Aunt Jenna's.  On Sunday, we all got up and went to church in Atkins.  It was so special to have all of us kids together to worship God, especially since it would have been Grandma Koehn's 89th birthday.  After church, we went back to Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy's to hang out until Julie had to go to the airport.  Really enjoyed our time.

3/3/12 - Family Time

As we all gathered together to mourn the loss of Grandma Koehn last week, we were able to support each other with extra hugs and just being together.  Really treasured the time with family members who we don't get to see very often.  Grandma would have been proud of us.

3/2/12 - Makin' Lunch

Aunt Jenna taught Noah how to make Bubble Pizza (or something like that - it was yummy, which is what really matters).  What a great helper.  Thanks, Aunt Jenna, for taking the time to let Noah help.
